WHAT IS SEMI PERMANENT MAKEUP?

Semi permanent makeup is a form of cosmetic tattooing where by the pigments are implanted into the skin using a machine, similar to a conventional tattoo machine. Semi permanent makeup is Micro pigmentation which we use a whipping/shading motion very superficially to create tiny pixels to create soft and natural looking  eyebrows, lips and eyeliner enhancements.

WHAT IS LASH LINE ENHANCEMENT?
It is a lash line tattoo that enhances and defines where your lashes grow. Your liner will look darker on the first day but will soften as they heal!

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Results will always vary from person to person, after your initial session and the touch up, your results should

last between 3-4 years, however a top up of your makeup tattoo is recommended every 12 months
in order to keep your permanent makeup looking fresh.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

- There will be moderate swelling, redness and bruising for the first 5 days.

- Apply ice for no more than 15 minutes at a time to reduce swelling.

- During the initial healing period, there should be minimal scabbing or flaking of the skin. If there is scabbing or flaking, do not pick, and allow the scab or dry skin to come off on its own.

- Expect the colour to eventually lighten by up to 30% and slightly shrink once the healing process is complete.

- Colour may appear uneven at different stages of healing. Be patient. This is a process that does not yield immediate results.

DOES EYELINER HURT?

A highly effective medical grade anaesthetic cream is used for numbing before and during the procedure. Pain threshold levels differ from person to person. I always make a conscious effort to make sure clients are comfortable for the entirety of the appointment. If you suffer from fibromyalgia, please be aware that this may affect your sensitivity and tolerance to the procedure. If you are a smoker, the topical anaesthetic may wear off slightly quicker to a non smoker.

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE AND WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

The procedure takes about 2 hours.  We will discuss your expectations, concerns etc, I will pre draw the desired shape. Once we are both happy I will apply numbing cream for 20 mins then we will start the process.
